Genre Forms And Conventions.

Tom Harris - This work explains how four different genres use the four technical codes in order to really have an impact upon the audience. I have shown what camera angles, music, editing and character types etc are used to create one of these conventional genre films.

Sophie Richardson - This is the prezi i created demonstrating the forms and conventions of genres.

Conclusion

Concluding both our research, we examined Horror, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Gangster/Crime, Action and Teen Films. We've looked at the general elements required for films in these genres, the typical storylines and how they could be recreated. With the combined research into different genres and the fact we're going to do a horror comedy gives us enough information to do this properly.

Brief on Group Members

Tom Harris - I will work majorly on blogging and planning as I am much more comfortable having the project organised so every aspect of the work is to a good standard.

Sophie Richardson - I will work on the editing and filming more and make sure its to a good standard. As tom is good at working on the blog and i'm better with the technical side, we will be able to help each other.
