For the start of our trailer we wanted the voice over to sound like several overlapped radio broadcasts warning people of the escaped victim, which started the zombie outbreak. We constructed this by using a video camera and filming myself, Tom, Al and Beccy reading from our script, then overlapped them the way we wanted it to sound, then we removed the video so we were left with the audio.

Today (Friday 7th October) we recorded our voiceovers for the trailer in the dance studio. We recorded it using a video camera and just kept the audio. We have now dropped it into Final Cut Pro and are going to start editing it. We recorded four different people saying our script, myself and Tom both did it and we recorded Al and Beccy too. We now have a variety of different voices to use in our trailer, we recorded these as separate radio broadcasts, we are now going to decide which voice suits specific parts of the voiceover the best then edit it so it sounds like different broadcasts overlapping one another. Tom Harris has imported the files into Final Cut and is currently removing the audio to use and editing them into the right order.
Al read - “...local authorities have advised citizens living on the island to report any suspicious behavior to the police immediately...”
and...
“...people of Hollow...stay indoors, stay equipped and above all...stay safe...”
Beccy read - “...the escaped convict in question was originally detained in the Hollow Psychiatric Facility situated on the south of the island and is described by officials as extremely dangerous...”
Sophie read - “...talks within Parliament are believed to have been very constructive regarding the future of Hollow Island...”
Tom read - “...it is with deep regret that all ferries arriving to and departing from Hollow are hereby cancelled to maintain the safety of British civilians living on the mainland...”
